In 2020, Andrew Wommack Ministries continued to organize ministers conferences as a legal battle with Colorado Gov. Jared Polis and local and state health officials looms.

However, representatives from both parties are due to appear in court on Thursday at 10 a.m. for a motions hearing that might effect the future of Andrew Wommack Ministries’ events.

We’ve been covering the Charis Bible College Bible Conference in Woodland Park for many days. Hundreds of people were expected, and our crews have seen dozens of automobiles heading to campus.

After Andrew Wommack Ministries filed a lawsuit against the state alleging religious discrimination, the Teller County Department of Public Health issued an injunction to ban any additional activities at Charis.

AWM was originally served with a cease and desist order by public health officials in early July, following a summer bible conference that Teller County claimed caused a coronavirus outbreak.

Liberty Counsel, the legal organization that brought the suit on behalf of AWM, says that discrimination occurred because the state did not send a cease and desist letter to large crowds of demonstrators while asking Andrew Wommack Ministries to stop conducting large gatherings.

The state filed a response challenging that claim, citing the state’s emergency public health order prohibiting large groups from gathering.

Now you know what kind of car does Andrew Wommack drive.
